The TagSafe mobile app requires access to your device camera solely for the following purposes:
- Scanning QR codes associated with TagSafe stickers
- Capturing photos (such as item photos) if you choose to upload them
Important:
- Camera access is activated only when you intentionally use the scanning or photo feature.
- The App does not access the camera in the background.
- The App does not record video or take photos without your explicit action.
2.3 Photos & Media
If you capture or upload photos (for example, item photos or profile images), these images may be securely stored on our servers to provide App functionality. Photos are never accessed without your action and are not shared publicly unless you explicitly choose to make information visible.
2.4 Usage Data
We may collect limited usage data such as:
- Device type and operating system version
- App and web feature usage
- Performance diagnostics
This information helps us improve TagSafe and maintain its reliability.
2.5 Crash Reports

Finder phone numbers and identities are not shared with you, and your personal contact details are never shared with finders.
